The Keter Year: What the Work Actually Looks Like

Most coaching sells a promise. The Keter Year Program runs on a mechanism. Twelve months, four quarters, 24 models, and one rule that holds it all together: every model closes on written proof, not on "I got this." Sequence is fixed. Pacing is flexible. Documented proof closes every gate.

Here is what that looks like on the ground, in the first quarter, for a real client.

Week 1

You've already had your onboarding call. We walked through your intake form together, line by line. Every score you gave yourself, 1 to 5 across six areas, had to come with specifics. A 4 without evidence is a hole. So is a 2. By the time Week 1 starts, I know exactly where your foundation is strong and where it's propped up.

Your first group call opens the way every call opens: a dvar torah on the week's parsha with a growth theme inside it, then the framework of the week, then Q&A on what men in the room are actually working through.

Then the work starts. Before your second call, two things get built and submitted:

  1. Your My Why. The document that anchors everything for the next twelve months. You work through it with a guided tool, on your own time, then submit the finished piece by email.
  2. Your 5UP commitment. Five daily non-negotiables, fixed for every client: read your My Why, drink 100 oz of water, do something uncomfortable, read 10 pages, move for at least 10 minutes. You choose your adherence target. Then you sign up to hit it.

Nothing moves forward until both are in. That's the first gate, and it's Week 1.

Week 4

By now your Foundation Quarter Commitment is locked: your 5UP, a nutrition focus, an exercise focus, and a start date you picked because you can actually see it through. You're living it daily.

The weekly rhythm is running:

  1. Daily 5UP execution against the target you chose.
  2. Weekly group call. Dvar torah, framework, Q&A.
  3. Sunday commitment message in the group. Midweek 5UP check-in poll. Friday end-of-week check-in.
  4. The Declutter project running in the background, due by quarter end.

Around the 30-day mark we review the commitment together. Not to soften it. To make sure it's the right commitment, honestly held. If you're hitting your target, we know. If you're not, we know that too, because the check-ins leave nowhere to hide.

This is the part most programs never build: a structure that keeps working when motivation dips. Week 4 is where that structure proves itself.

Week 12

You've passed Day 62, the one-time milestone where 61 straight days of 5UP earns you the right to change it. Most men keep it running. The point was never the change. The point was 61 days.

Now you're in the bridge: four models, fixed order, roughly one per week, each closed by written work submitted to me. While you keep holding the daily commitment, you build your next quarter on top of it:

  1. Life Inventory. A written audit of your whole life across six areas, with specifics.
  2. Focus Method. From everywhere you could go, down to one direction, with one supporting input chosen.
  3. Leaving Mitzrayim. The limiting belief inside that direction, surfaced in writing, with a new "I am" statement that goes into your My Why.
  4. Dream to DO. One Q2 goal, with standards, with action against that belief built in.

By the end of the quarter you walk into Q2 carrying a reviewed 5UP, a locked area of focus, a named limiting belief, an updated My Why, and one goal with real standards and a real start date. Q2 has no ramp-up. You cross the line already running.

The rule underneath all of it

Every model has a completion gate. Two ways through: do the work and submit it, or document in writing, with specifics from the last 30 days, that you're already living it at or above the standard. There is no third door. If you can't write it down, you don't have it.

That's the whole method. No hype, no vibes, no quarterly pep talk. A fixed sequence, a flexible pace, and a paper trail that proves the man you're becoming actually showed up.
